Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10th and 12th results fake dates are being spread online, some of the media houses even saying that the results of class 10 and class 12 will be released after the first week of May (between May 8 and 15). CBSE chairman Anita Karwal has dismissed the confirmation of the result date and said, “These are only rumours and I request all the media houses to stop speculating the result date.”
She said that “All CBSE officials have been strictly directed not to talk with the media, the process of evaluation of results is still underway and it is too early to release the date of 10th, 12th results”.
Anita Karwal also said that “The date of the announcement of result will be communicated to the media just a day before the release of results.

As of now, the third week of May (May 12 to 17) is the probable date for announcement of results, but it may change.”
Earlier, the CBSE secretary Anurag Tripathi has also confirmed that the results will be released between May 13 to 17, 2019. Students can check the results via the official websites — cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, once they are announced.
The teachers have been informed to give importance to creative, correct and relevant answers.
This year, CBSE board has introduced apps to monitor the examination process. The exam centre locator (ECL) app has been developed to facilitate examinees to locate the centres, and podcast app- ‘CBSE- Shiksha Vani’ where special training audios are launched every week to monitor the evaluation process.
Over 31 lakh candidates which includes 18.1 lakh male and 12.9 lakh female candidates appeared for this year examinations that were completed on April 4.
