BSE Odisha 10th Time Table 2019
The Board of Secondary Examination (BSE) has announced the annual High School Certificate (HSC) or the matriculation (Class 10) board examination 2019 dates.
BSE Odisha 10th Time Table 2019:
The Odisha matric exams start from February 22 and will continue till March 8, 2019.
Practical exam: Details
Practical examinations will be conducted between February 11 and February 16.
Other examinations:
The examinations equivalent to matriculation such as the madhyama for Sanskrit students and state open school certificate examinations (for dropouts) will also be held during the same period. The Council of Higher Secondary Education on Thursday said the annual Plus II examinations in Odisha start from March 7.
Total number of candidates:
Over six lakh students will appear in the BSE Odisha HSC exams 2019.
BSE Odisha Exam Pattern 2019 - Changes in class 10 exam pattern:
BSE Odisha has reconsidered the exam pattern and syllabus for the High School Certificate Examination to be held in 2019.
Here's the list of BSE Odisha 2019 Exam Pattern changes:
- The change is done in the objective part of the question paper and the subjective part of the question paper remains unchanged.
- The current three Objective sets of question papers will be replaced by four parallel sets of questions
- The current distribution of marks will also be changed from 10 and 5 marks to 7 and 8 marks respectively in both Social Science and General Science papers
- The Board is planning to do away with the OMR completely for High School Certificate Examination by 2020
- The alternative pattern of OMR (objective) part for High School Certificate Examination - 2020 will be announced soon.
Note: A student will have to secure a minimum of 15 qualifying marks in subjective and objective papers separately to pass examination in each subject.
