UGC NET December 2018 Exam Date
The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test 2018 (UGC NET) will be held by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from December 9 to December 23, 2018 across India. UGC NET December 2018 exam is held for determining the eligibility for college and university level lectureship and for awarding the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) to Indian nationals for pursuing their PhD or research.

UGC NET 2018 Exam pattern:
UGC NET 2018 Exam will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of two papers, i.e. Paper I and II held in two different sessions. Candidates need to appear for both the papers
Paper-I:
This paper includes generic questions, intending to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It is designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper-II:
It will be based on the subject selected by the candidate. No negative marking is applied. All Questions are compulsory.
Note: Both papers consist of objective type questions (MCQs) only and there is a break of 30 minutes between the papers.
