The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) has released a notification for its flagship two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) programme. Candidates who wish to apply can do so on or before December 31 on the official website of IRMA - irma.ac.in

Steps to apply for IRMA PGDRM 2019

  • Visit the official website for IRMA, irma.ac.in
  • Click on the link 'Admissions for PGDRM 2019-21'
  • Register with your valid e-mail ID
  • Click on apply online tab
  • Fill the application form
  • Upload all the required documents and pay application fee
  • Click submit

Important instructions for candidates:

Upload scanned or digital copy of your photograph and signature (Maximum size: 512 KB) at the appropriate place in the form
Upload the scanned copy of your latest OBC (Non creamy) / SC / ST / DAP category certificate as applicable (Maximum size: 1 MB)
Upload the scanned copy of your mark sheets of 10th, 12th and graduation.
Upload your graduation certificate, Sports certificate, extra-curricular certificate and work experience certificate (whichever applicable) (Maximum size: 1 MB).

Eligibility criteria:
Candidate must have a graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education; having 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ST/DAP (Differently Abled Person)) aggregate marks at the graduation level can apply for admission.
Students in final year of their graduation can apply if they expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before July 01, 2019.

Application fee:
Rs 1,400(Rs 700 for reserved categories).

Selection procedure:
IRMA will be shortlisting and calling applicants in two ways:

1. Merit-based Calls: Candidates who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process.

2. Profile-cum-merit based Calls: Candidates who score above 80 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 and fall in the Profile-based call criteria will be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process. The key criteria to shortlist candidates based on profile are: (i) Excellence: Graduation from Top universities and Colleges, (ii) Work Experience in Social Impact, Community Development, Livelihoods, Policy and Advocacy, Agriculture and Allied sectors; (iii) Graduation in Social sciences, Development studies, Agriculture and Allied sciences
