CBSE notice over fake grace marks audio about Class 12 Accountancy paper

CBSE issues notice over fake grace marks audio about Class 12 Accountancy paper

After the CBSE Class 12 Accountancy paper for Term 1 was conducted on December 13, an audio message from Sanyam Bhardwaj (CBSE's exam controller) went viral on the internet. As per the audio, the students would get at least 5 or 6 grace marks.

Now CBSE has issued an official notice, claiming the viral audio as fake.

The Board in their official notice dated December 14 has confirmed that the audio is not from the Controller of Examinations. The notice said that the reports being circulated are "baseless" and "false". They termed it as "fake news," warning the public "not to fall prey to such unverified news."
What’s actually in the audio?
The audio claimed that CBSE had changed the exam pattern at the last moment, which is a shock for students. It also said if the students had attempted 28 to 31 questions correctly, they would score around 38 marks.

Earlier the board had decided to drop a comprehension passage from term 1 English examination, after allegations that it was regressive, and promoted gender stereotyping after which it was decided by the board to award full marks to all students, for the accompanying questions of a comprehension passage which was dropped.
