CBSE New Rules for Class 12, 10 in 2019


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2019 from February 15, 2019. Around 28 lakh students will appear in the CBSE Class 12th and Class 10th exams. CBSE has issued some important instructions for students for the admit card, exam timings etc on the official website, cbse.nic.in. Below we have mentioned CBSE New Rules for Class 12 2019 as well as for CBSE New Rules for Class 10 2019.

These are some important instructions CBSE has outlined:

1. School uniform:
Students must wear school uniform while coming for the CBSE Board Exams 2019. CBSE has made compulsory for regular students to appear in school uniform for the CBSE Board Exams 2019. This information has already been conveyed to all CBSE affiliated schools so that this information is further conveyed to students. Students without school uniform will not be permitted to appear in the exams.

2. Parents' signature on the admit card:
Signatures of student and principal as well as Parents are to be taken by students, CBSE has made a separate column for the parents signatures in the admit card. CBSE board has directed the students to get their admit cards signed by the parents too. This is made compulsory for the students to get all the signatures done. Any student who does not take the signatures of Prinicipal as well as Parents would not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Students must also make sure that the admit card must have the stamp.

3. No entry after 10 am:
No student will be permitted to enter the examination centre after 10 am at any cost. It is advisable that students must reach the examination centre on time i.e. before 10 am to get inside the examination hall.

4. Students can carry this inside exam hall
Students are permitted to carry a pen and other stationary items in a transparent bag. Students are also allowed to carry their school identity card and CBSE admit card. Diabetic students are permitted to carry snacks along with them. Students must note that any written material, mobile phones, smart watches etc are just not permitted inside the examination hall.
