HPCET 2017 Registration, HPCET 2017 Exam Date
The Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test HPCET 2017 registration has started. Candidates who are interested and wish to apply for HPCET 2017 need to apply at the official website www.himtu.ac.in. Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur will conduct HPCET 2017.
HPCET 2017 is an entrance examination held for taking admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) direct entry, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), BPharm (Ayurveda), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Technology (MTech) and Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) programmes for the academic session 2017-18.

Last date for HPCET 2017 registration - April 20.
Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
MCA/ MBA:Candidates need to possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognised institute/university with minimum 50 per cent .
BTech: Candidates must be intermediate (class 12) pass from a recognised institute/university with physics and mathematics as a compulsory subjects along with one of the chemistry/biotechnology/biology/technical vocational subject.
MTech: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering technology from any recognised university/institute with minimum 50 per cent.
HPCET 2017 Paper pattern:
- HPCET 2017 entrance test for each program would be conducted in single offline (pen and paper based test) mode
- All questions would be objective type (multiple choice questions) having a choice of four answers. A Candidate need to choose one correct answer only
- Each correct answer fetches 2 (two) marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 0.5 mark. No marks would be given for questions which have not been attempted.
