The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2016 result announced on November 8. SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was held for recruiting applicants for the group B and C posts in various departments of the government.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was held from August 27 to September 11 for recruiting applicants for the group B and C posts in various departments of the government. The SSC CGL 2016 result will be announced on November 8. Candidates who appeared for the SSC CGL 2016 exam must visit the official website www.ssc.nic.in for the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2016.
Staff Selection Commission conducted a computer based exam held in 43 batches, in 96 cities at total 415 venues. Total 38.04 lakh candidates had registered for the exam out of which 14.99 lakh had appeared.
SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was held in the following three phases:
Tier 1
Tier 2
Tier 3
Candidates who successfully pass the Tier 1 exam will then need to appear for Tier 2 phase.

You can download the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result and take a printout for future use.
This is the first time the exam was held online and this year the question paper had four parts-- Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, General Awareness and English Language. Each section carried 25 questions; each question carried two marks and for each wrong answer, 0.50 mark was deducted. The time limit of the examination was 75 minutes.
