CAT 2016 New Changes
Common Admission Test (CAT), is one of the most competitive management entrance examinations which act as a gateway for admission into any premier management institutions and premier business schools in the country. It was a paper-based test previously but now its a computerised exam, many other changes have been introduced in the marking scheme and syllabus as well.

One of the major changes that has been done in the CAT 2016 registration form is the addition of Noida as a designated test centre for the prestigious entrance examination. Noida had been a test centre before but was replaced by Greater Noida - a suburb of Noida. Candidates from Delhi-NCR region now found it easy after Noida has been reinstated as a CAT exam test centre.

Another change has been done in the field where the graduation level marks are entered. The CAT registration form used to only accept marks for graduation degree in the standard three-year format. But this caused a problem with the candidates who had passed their graduation in the 1980's when the old pattern of two-year Bachelor's degree was valid. Now the candidates only have to fill the details of start and completion of Bachelor's degree. Marks can be filled according to the number of years taken to complete the graduation.
