GATE Results 2016, GATE Scorecard
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) results have been announced on March 19. Candidates can check the official website of GATE 2016 for the results, http://www.gate.iisc.ernet.in/ and click on the link, 'GATE 2016 Results'. Candidates must enter the details. After entering of details, the GATE 2016 results will be displayed on the computer screen. Candidates need to take a print-out for future reference.
The GATE examination was of a single paper, which had 65 questions carrying 65 marks in total and the paper was of three hours duration. The GATE question paper consisted of both multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type questions.
The GATE is a competitive exam held every year for selecting candidates for admissions to postgraduate courses at the Master and Doctoral levels across the country, and also to MHRD and other government scholarships, assistantships in engineering, technology, architecture and science. Candidates can also check the GATE 2016 Scorecard, the GATE scorecard is used by some PSUs for selecting candidates.
The GATE score card is valid for a period of three years after the declaration of the GATE results.
