Candidates who wish to appear for PESSAT Test (PES Scholastic Aptitude Test) registration 2016 can do so till July. PESSAT 2016 exam is held for admission to various undergraduate and post graduates programmes of the university. Candidates must note down the fact that PESSAT 2016 exam can be fixed on any Wednesday or Saturday till the month of July. PESSAT for B.Tech programme will be conducted in May from January 6 till July for all other programs.Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree of three years with 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidate must possess a qualifying score in either PESSAT, CAT, MAT or CMAT. PGCET scores are mandatory for VTU MBA aspirants. PESSAT is not applicable for PESIT South Campus, PESIMSR and PES central campus.
PESSAT 2016 exam Paper pattern
PESSAT 2016 exam contains four subjects i.e. physics, mathematics, chemistry and English in sequential order. Mathematics and Physics section will have 60 questions each, while chemistry will have 40 questions and the English section 20 questions. No negative marking is applied.The PESSAT 2016 exam duration is of three hours in online mode only.
How to apply for PESSAT 2016 exam?
A candidate can pay the requisite fees by Credit/debit card, Net banking or through challan submission in the bank. For challan, a Candidate must print both application form and challan and carry both to the bank for payment. Submit hard copy of application along with the copy of stamped challan.
If you are paying by demand draf, it must be in favour of "PES University General Fund" payable at Bangalore. You can ask the DD from the bank, enter DD details online and send it along with the printed application form to 'Manager - Admissions, Office of Admissions, PES University, 100 Ft Ring Road, BSK 3rd Stage, Bangalore - 560085'.
