CBSE Class 10 Result 2017 Date, CBSE Class 12 Result 2017 Date


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) would declare the Class 10, 12 results late this year. Both Class 10, Class 12 examination started on March 9, and the CBSE 2017 Results would be late due to state elections.

This year, a total of 19,85,397 students from classes 10 and 12 appeared for the board examinations. The board is expected to declare CBSE Class 10 exam results 2017 before May 20 and that of CBSE Class 12 results 2017 in the last week of the month. Candidates can check the CBSE 2017 Results at cbse.nic.in

Number of school registered:

Class 10: Last year, a total of 15,309 schools registered for the exam and now it has increased to 16,363.

Class 12: 557 more schools have been added to 10678 schools registered last year

Marking scheme:

As per CBSE, the maximum marks will be 100.  Out of the total 100 marks, the board exam will be of 50 marks, and 50 marks are allocated to internal assessment/practical examination. Each candidate needs to score minimum 33 per cent marks in both board exam and practical exam to pass the subject.

CBSE board was founded in 1962. All Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India have been affiliated by CBSE. The board held class 10 and class 12 exams in the month of March every year.
