CAT 2016 Exam Date, All About CAT 2016 Preparation
The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will hold the Common Entrance Test on Sunday, December 4. The CAT 2016 examination is held for admission in various management programmes. Candidates who successfully pass the selection process will be given admissions in 20 different IIM institutes.

Post-Graduate Programme in Food and Agribusiness Management
Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management
Post Graduate Programme in Securities Markets
CAT 2016 Paper pattern:
Total 100 questions to be answered in 3 hrs duration
The paper is divided into three sections with one hour given for each section
Three marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response
No negative marking for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Numerical Entry Questions (NE)

CAT 2016 Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university/institute with at least 50 per cent or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
Candidates appearing for final year of Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who are awaiting final year results can also apply only if they submit a certificate from the principal/registrar of their university/institution

Candidates should be minimum 20 years or above
CAT 2016 Selection process:
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) followed by Personal Interviews (PI) round.
