The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2017 registration has started from October 10. AICTE CMAT exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 28 and January 29.

Candidates must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute. Final year students can also apply.
How to register for AICTE CMAT?
Candidates must follow these steps in order to complete the CMAT registration process:
Visit the official website, http://www.aicte-cmat.in/College/Index_New.aspx
Register as 'new user'
Then read the instructions
Fill-in all the details and click submit
Candidates must take a printout of the same
AICTE CMAT Application fee:
Candidates must pay Rs 1400 for each application form and SC/ST/OBC applicants need to pay Rs 700 only.
AICTE CMAT Paper pattern:
The test consist of 100 questions based on four sections i.e., Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness carrying a total of 100 marks.
The AICTE CMAT exam duration will be of three hours.
Negative marking is applicable for wrong answers, one mark would be deducted for each wrong answer.
AICTE CMAT Trial test:
The trial test will be available from December 15. Candidates must follow it carefully and familiarise themselves with the screens, layout, and navigation.
