FYJC Mumbai Cut off List 2016
Mumbai's first cut-off list for the first-year junior colleges (FYJC) was announced on Monday, June 27. Over 47,000 students got the first college preference they made in the first fyjc merit list.
It is seen the cut off rates have increased mainly for the arts and commerce streams as with the previous year. According to the Deputy Director of Education, out of the 2.2 lakh applications received, 1.84 lakh students got first-class scores. Over 47,000 students got their names in the first fyjc merit list.
Highest cut off for humanities:
St Xavier's, Fort, has recorded the highest cut-off for humanities at 94.4 per cent. It is more than the last year's 93.8 per cent.
K C College, Churchgate cut off 2015: 85.2 per cent
K C College, Churchgate cut off 2016: 88.4 per cent
St Xavier's cut off 2015: 93.8 per cent

Jai Hind College, Churchgate cut off 2016: 91.4 per cent
Royal College, Mira Road off 2016: 90.6 per cent
Mithibai College cut off 2016: 87.33 per cent

In colleges such as Narsee Monjee and HR College, Churchgate, an increase in the cut-off list can be seen:

Narsee Monjee cut off 2016: 94.5 per cent
HR College, Churchgate cut off 2015: 93.17 per cent
HR College, Churchgate cut off 2016: 93.4 per cent
Jai Hind College, Churchgate cut off 2016: 91.8 per cent
R A Podar College of Commerce and Economics cut off 2016: 91.8 per cent
Students, who wish to get admissions in minority/in-house/management quota, need to certify their online mark sheets and also issue school leaving certificate.
FYJC Merit List Dates:
Payment of fees for merit list 1: June 28, 29 and 30, from 10 am to 3 pm.
Second FYJC Merit list Date: July 4 at 5 pm.
Payment of fees for merit list 2: July 5, 7 and 8, from 10 am to 3 pm.
Third FYJC Merit list Date: July 11 at 5 pm.
Payment of fees for merit list 3 and final: July 12 and 13, from 10 am to 3 pm.
