FYJC Online Admission 2016-17 process for Pune and Mumbai region is over now. After the release of Maharashtra SSC results 2016, FYJC admission 2016-17 started on 7th June and concluded on 17th June 2016. Admissions in the FYJC Mumbai metropolitan area (MMR) are being carried out online since many years. Aspirants must carefully look in the fyjc.org.in information booklet for mumbai online admissions 2016.

For the FYJC Online Admission Process 2016-17, a student needs to take note of these:

-In the fyjc.org.in/mumbai Online Admissions, the fyjc Online form must be filled in two parts. In the Part I personal information of the aspirant has to be filled. In the Part II, students had given college preferences.

-Junior college preferences had to be selected by students from any one zone listed in the fyjc.org.in information booklet. If a student does not get a seat in list of college selected on the basis of student's merit, they will be given a college from Part II. If they do not get a college from Part 1 or Part 2, then they will be allotted a college from Part III. After the announcement of fyjc.or.in/mumbai merit list, colleges will be allotted.

-Students should take note of selecting colleges whose cut-off scores are higher for the last year than scores a student has got in this year as students should think of selecting junior colleges where they seems to have a better chance of admission.

-Betterment option for fyjc.org.in/mumbai and pune.fyjc.org.in online admissions is available for only once in the full fyjc online admission process 2016-17.

-This time, there are a lot of fyjc Commerce seats as well as many commerce seats have been added in the commerce colleges in Mumbai and Pune.

-fyjc.org.in/mumbai Online admission guidance centre has been opened in Vasai-Virar and Bhiwandi.

-While filling out the option form, a candidate must select maximum of two streams, select minimum 15 and maximum 30 junior colleges from Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and minimum 15 and maximum 20 colleges from one of the 11 zones. Then select minimum 5 and maximum 10 junior colleges attached to secondary schools from two wards of selected zone.

-As this time there are 2.69 lakh seats only and there are 3.19 lakh students who have passed in the Mumbai SSC exams and due to this, there will be a shortage of seats in the Mumbai and Pune Junior colleges. Moreover, students from CBSE and ICSE board have scored more than the Mumbai SSC students, the fyjc.org.in/mumbai admission list will be topped by CBSE and ICSE students.
